Contempt of court #1
Hours before a kid exchange, Joe unilaterally decided to change the time of pickup. I had planned out my day, my older kids had things going on, I had planned everything around the mutually agreed upon meeting time that we arranged in writing 3 days prior.
I could not and would not comply with what he was demanding, and he did not show up to pick the children up at the agreed upon time. He filed a petition for contempt against me citing that I wasn’t following the court order. He kept telling me I was committing a felony.
His motion, of course was DENIED. It was stated by the judge that he “acted in bad faith and without substantial justification”.
Joe’s first attorney withdrew from represententation ( see here ) so he was representing himself. He was conversing directly with my attorney. Messages below.
