Pinching

Joe would often pinch our two young children as a method of punishment. Often it was hard enough that it left marks on them. I was not ok with this in any way, I begged him to stop. If he would get mad at one of them, he would lose his temper extremely quickly. It was like 0 to a 100 in a second. I remember having to chase after him when he picked up one of the kids who did something he didn’t like. I was terrified and felt like I had to protect them.
